The Whole-Homes Repair (WHR) Program was established through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to provide critical support for homeowners in Centre County. The program offers funding for home repairs, energy efficiency upgrades, case management services, and workforce development.

Locally, the Centre County WHR Program is administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) in partnership with Centre County Government's Office of Adult Services.  The Builders Association of Central PA is proud to collaborate with both organizations to support workforce development efforts that strengthen the residential construction industry, promote engagement in home remodeling, and improve quality of life throughout the county.

Applications for the next round of the Centre County Whole-Homes Repair Scholarship & Grant Program are being accepted through  December 31, 2025.
